Description
On sunny days the scene constantly changes as pools of light shift through the forest canopy above Ramona Falls on the west face of Mt Hood. I visited late in the season when the flow was quite gentle and found the overall falls too sparse for a good photo. The base of the falls, however, is stunningly gorgeous with the water dancing down it’s many steps of dark stone. I waited for a moment when the beams of light fell in the right place to create a strong rainbow to capture this shot.
