Description
Panther Creek Falls is one of my favorite waterfalls to photograph. It’s so exquisitely graceful and intricate. I keep returning and shooting from the same few accessible viewpoints over and over, hoping to be present at a moment when the falls is especially full, moody, or giving a particular feel. I especially love this side angle from the upper main viewpoint as the various falls elements get tightened together for a fantastic vertical composition, and October is a great time to visit when the vine maples and maidenhair ferns shed their soft green in favor of orange, gold, and tan.
