Description
I was hoping that Mirror Lake would live up to its name when I made this hike after work near the end of summer. Sometimes it doesn’t when it’s windy out, but happily it did and the rosy sunset colors on Mt Hood added a great deal to the scene. The mist rising from the left side of the lake was an unexpected bonus which sprinkled in a hint of mystery although it did mute the strength of the reflection as well.
