Description

The magic and allure of a Polynesian Village is made real around a small, tranquil lake on Huahine, French Polynesia. At the far end of the lake is an archaeological site where several stone platforms have been unearthed – these are believed to have been part of a religious center belonging to the ancient Lapita people who first populated the island thousands of years ago. Several artifacts have been found here as well. Excavations are ongoing.
