Description

I had driven past Cove Palisades State Park near Redmond, Oregon several times but had never stopped to see what was there. Immediately upon descending into the canyon along the Crooked River Arm of Lake Billy Chinook I was wowed by the size of the cliffs and the intricate geometry of their rocky faces. This section was particularly interesting, with two contrasting layers and a variety of colors in the rock.
