Description

Bands of clouds create a striped sunset at Fare on the island of Huahine, French Polynesia. A lone palm watches the gentle scene unfold and slowly fade. The nearby islands of Taha’a (center) and Raiatea (left) can be seen along the horizon. This was the first night of our incredible trek across five of the Society Islands over two weeks. We would be welcomed on each by many gorgeous sunsets like this one. This particular sunset had such a gorgeous fade from orange to soft blue across the sky – so tranquil.
