I took my children to the beach every year around Father’s Day for several years until they became adults and moved away. This photo is from our final beach trip in 2022, when we decided to visit a few beaches we had never been to before. We were rewarded for trekking through the dark to Tunnel Beach with this gloriously clear sunset. I had just upgraded to a newer camera and this was my first shoot trying the wide lens I had purchased, which did a fantastic job capturing the scene. While the entire scene is beautiful, it’s the details in the photo that make it for me, especially the golden light catching in the mist coming off the wave near the central rock and again off the green wave on the far left.
