Description

The afterglow of a radiant sunset burns the sky coral red at Manzanita Beach on the Oregon Coast. After watching the sun sink into the Pacific at nearby Neahkahnie Mountain, I drove south a few miles to Manzanita for a different view. Fortunately this sunset was particularly spectacular and glowed for quite some time, progressing through the spectrum of warm colors for about half an hour and enabling me to capture the changing scene from a few different locations.
